La Mimosa is a handsome, three-story farm-house built around 200 years ago. It is situated down a quiet country lane outside the hilltop village of Monte Vidon Corrado, overlooking the beautiful countryside of Le Marche. Angela and Robert Worsley have moved to this lovely house from England, and have converted it to provide holiday accommodation for those who want to enjoy the Italian countryside, culture and way of life, away from the tourist mainstream .

Angela and Robert live in the main building. A one story annex adjoining the main building provides a two-bedroom self-contained apartment. The property includes two acres of land , planted with 100 olive trees and numerous fruit and nut trees, which our guests will be free to wander amongst. The property is in an area of small farms and smallholdings. The views from the house and the large terrace are of a peaceful, verdant countryside, with the handsome medieval town of Montegiorgio in the distance . La Mimosa provides a beautiful and tranquil base from which you can explore the villages, towns and countryside of Le Marche.

La Mimosa is located midway between the mountains and the sea. A 40 minute drive will bring you to the Adriatic coast where there are miles and miles of long sandy beaches with numerous holiday resorts where Italian families take their vacations. La Mimosa is also a similar distance from the mountains of the Sibillini National Park. The mountains tower to almost 8,000 feet but there is plenty of excellent walking of all grades , as well as a number of roads that provide some spectacular drives. In between the mountains and the sea there are green, rolling hills studded with numerous beautiful, perfectly preserved medieval hilltop towns . Within easy reach are the larger, historic towns of Macerata , Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, each with their share of architectural, historic and artistic treasures.

We are also able to provide a program of Guided Walks, an Easter Writing Holiday and our No Drive Holiday for those who are unable, or do not wish, to drive in Italy.
